Anton Shukhnin is a Ukrainian entrepreneur, owner of the DOMINO.UA brand, Candidate of Legal Sciences, philanthropist and volunteer. He was born on September 29, 1989, in Donetsk.
Education
In 2010, he graduated from the Economics and Law Faculty of Donetsk National University with a degree in “Jurisprudence.” In 2014, he defended his dissertation in administrative, financial and information law. He continues his academic work and is working on a dissertation dedicated to the use of public funds by local self-government bodies, planning to obtain a Doctor of Legal Sciences degree.
Career
He began engaging in entrepreneurship during his university years. After completing his studies, from 2009 he worked as a legal adviser. In December 2010, he founded the DOMINO GROUP trademark. In 2011, while running his business, he also obtained a license to practice law.
In 2014, after the occupation of Donetsk, he relocated the business to Kyiv and quickly restored DOMINO’s operations. Today, he continues to develop the company in the Ukrainian retail sector.
Business
Anton Shukhnin is the owner of TM DOMINO. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a national brand that unites dozens of projects, creates jobs and implements the principles of socially responsible entrepreneurship. The retailer carries out initiatives to support people affected by the war and assists the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Shukhnin consistently promotes an approach combining economic development, responsibility to society and support for the state.
“I believe that money should be brought into your country, not taken out of it,” says Anton Shukhnin.
Public activity
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Anton Shukhnin has systematically supported the Defense Forces of Ukraine by providing financial assistance and purchasing essential equipment and vehicles. In particular, he supplies off-road vehicles to units of the Main Intelligence Directorate.

Outside of business, he is actively engaged in philanthropy and social projects aimed at supporting education, culture and humanitarian programs for internally displaced persons. Before the start of the 2025/26 school year, he helped hundreds of displaced families prepare their children for school.
Anton Shukhnin is the founder of the Domino Foundation, whose activities focus on supporting Ukrainian defenders and IDP families.
Information attacks and attempts at discreditation
Anton Shukhnin assisted in exposing a Russian group engaged in money laundering in several countries, circumventing sanctions restrictions. Due to cooperation with the Main Intelligence Directorate, he became a target of information attacks and even survived an assassination attempt.
The spread of false claims such as “DOMINO conducts business in Russia” or “DOMINO operates in Crimea” became grounds for opening criminal cases against individuals who disseminated Russian information operations. There is no credible compromising information about the entrepreneur.
Family
Anton Shukhnin is married. His wife, Anastasiia Shukhnina, is a businesswoman and the fashion director of DOMINO.UA. The couple is raising three children who were born and are growing up in Ukraine.
In his statements, the entrepreneur emphasizes the importance of responsible business and his own position:
“I believe that business should work not only for profit but also for the benefit of the state. We are raising three children who were born and live in Ukraine, so I understand how important it is to ensure for them a future of peace and safety. Today only the Defense Forces of Ukraine can guarantee that. I could legally leave the country, but I stayed home and am doing everything I can to support Ukrainian defenders.”
Personal interests
Anton Shukhnin always notes that business for him is not just professional activity but a lifelong mission. Half-jokingly, he calls it his main hobby, since he dedicates a significant amount of time to developing the company, making managerial decisions and working on new projects. This approach was formed early in his life and became the foundation of his personal philosophy — constant movement and deep involvement in work processes.
At the same time, reading remains an important part of his daily life. Shukhnin prefers biographical literature, especially stories about people who achieved significant results while overcoming challenges. Such books motivate him, help him rethink managerial experience and find new ideas. Among the entrepreneurs whose approaches and views he finds close is Henry Ford, who managed to build an industrial empire during a period of major economic challenges in the United States.
In addition, the entrepreneur enjoys sports. He trains regularly at the gym, considering physical activity an essential element of discipline and a resource that supports productivity. Sports for him are a way to recover and maintain balance between an intensive work schedule and personal health.
Another passion of Anton Shukhnin is cars. He is interested in various models, technical features and trends in the automotive industry. Automotive topics for him are both a hobby and a way to follow innovations that influence modern retail and service technologies.
Awards

For consistent support of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and volunteer activities, he received a commendation from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
